Data profiler
Check an EDC export: types, gaps, duplicates, outliers.
Upload an export from any EDC as CSV, TXT or XLSX. The profile shows each column's type, missing values, distinct values, range or top values, and findings.
What it looks for
- non-numeric values in numeric columns and outliers (beyond three interquartile ranges);
- unreadable dates, dates in the future or before 1900, mixed date formats;
- the same value in different case (“Yes” and “yes”), extra spaces;
- fully duplicated rows and repeated column names;
- empty and half-empty columns, a unique key candidate and the subject column.
Encoding (UTF-8, Windows-1251) and delimiter are detected automatically.
Nothing is stored. The file is read in memory and discarded; the log keeps only the number of rows, columns and findings. Size and daily limits are set by the administrator.
